Day 1

Upon arrival in Chicago you will meet your Joshua Expeditions guide then enjoy a short walking tour of the city. You will see the Lake Michigan waterfront, experience Millennium Park and tour the Sears Tower and Art Institute of Chicago. In the evening, you will stop for dinner before returning to the hotel for devotions.

Day 2

This morning the group will take a bus tour of the north side of Chicago, including State Street, Lincoln Park Conservatory, Wrigley Building and Michigan Avenue. In the afternoon your group will head to Navy Pier to enjoy the specialty shops, rides and fun activities. (Fees for optional activities are not included in the price of the trip.) At the Pier you can get a panoramic view of the Chicago skyline by taking a ride on the 150-foot ferris wheel that was modeled after the one from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. Later, following dinner, the group will enjoy a Broadway play and then head back to the hotel for devotions.

Day 3

Today your group will visit Shedd Aquarium, home to the Oceanarium, the largest indoor marine mammal pavilion in the world. There will also be time to explore the Field Museum which features dinosaur and lion exhibits among its treasures. In the late afternoon, the group will take time for an architectural tour down the Chicago River, then head out for shopping on the Magnificent Mile. Dinner and devotions will round out the day.

Day 4

This morning you will head back to the Magnificent Mile for last-minute shopping at the unique stores before departing for the trip home.
