Day 1

After arriving in Chicago, you will meet your Joshua Expeditions guide then enjoy a short walking tour of the city. You will see Lake Michigan waterfront, experience Millennium Park and tour the Sears Tower and Art Institute of Chicago. Following dinner in the evening, the group will visit a family-oriented jazz club to hear a blues band then retire to the hotel for a time of devotions.

Day 2

This morning you will attend a music clinic at a Chicago university, then spend the afternoon at Navy Pier where you will enjoy the many specialty shops and fun rides (some activities included). You will want to take in the panoramic view of Chicago’s skyline by riding the 150-foot high ferris wheel that was modeled after the wheel from the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. In the evening the group will see a Broadway play then head back to the hotel for devotions.

Day 3

Today you will visit Shedd Aquarium, home to the Oceanarium, the largest indoor marine mammal pavilion in the world. There will also be time to explore the Field Museum with dinosaur and lion exhibits among its treasures. In the late afternoon, the group will take time for an architectural boat tour on the Chicago River and possibly attend another musical performance at one of the universities. Dinner and devotions will round out the day.

Day 4

This morning the group will head over to the Magnificent Mile for last-minute shopping at the unique stores before departing for the trip home.
