Day 1

After your arrival in Phoenix, you will travel with your Joshua Expeditions guide to Papago Park, where your group will take a short hike to experience a scenic view of the city. In the evening you will enjoy dinner and devotions as your first day draws to a close.

Day 2

Over the next two days, you will serve with a local ministry in Phoenix called the Dream Center. The Dream Center has various ministries in which you can be involved, including outreach to the greater Phoenix community through food and clothing distribution and the sharing of God’s Word. Each evening, the group will meet to talk about the day's events and take time for devotions.

Day 3

Your ministry continues today at the Dream Center. You will have the chance to interact with men and women who have found Christ at their darkest times in life and are turning their lives around through an intense discipleship program. After a full day of ministry, the group will share a time of devotions and reflection.

Day 4

As your time at the Dream Center continues you may have the opportunity to share your testimony, a song or skit during outreach or church services. The day will close with devotions.

Day 5

Departing the new friends in Phoenix, your group will begin the journey north to Flagstaff. Along the way, you will make a stop in the breathtaking red rock landscape of Sedona to enjoy some hiking, photo opportunities and classic southwest shopping. You may want to take the short hike up beautiful formations such as Chapel Rock before the group continues on to Flagstaff for the night.

Day 6

Today you will experience the Grand Canyon! The day will be spent touring all of the best viewpoints as well as a hiking a short distance into the canyon. Your group will learn about this incredible canyon and discuss a Biblical viewpoint to its origin before departing reluctantly to enjoy dinner and devotions at the hotel.

Day 7

Following breakfast, it will be time to travel to the airport for the trip back home.
