Day 1

After your arrival in Phoenix, you will travel with your Joshua Expeditions guide to Papago Park for a quick hike to see a great view of the city. Dinner and devotions will wrap up this first day.

Day 2

Today, the group will head north to explore Flagstaff. Depending on the time of year, you could have options to ski, sled, ice skate, hike or mountain bike (one activity is included in the price of the trip). You could also visit Sunset Crater for hiking and a look at past volcanic activity. In the evening, the group will visit Lowell Observatory to gaze through the telescope that discovered Pluto before rounding out the day with devotions at the hotel.

Day 3

Today you will experience the Grand Canyon! The day will be spent touring all of the best viewpoints then you will hike a short distance into the canyon itself. You will learn about this incredible landscape and discuss a Biblical viewpoint to its origin. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner and devotions at the hotel.

Day 4

The day will begin early with a trek back to Phoenix, stopping for lunch in Valley Verde, located just outside of Sedona, where the group will have the chance to hike. You will arrive in Phoenix by afternoon, and then take an opportunity to get into your Western wear for a great show and dinner at Rawhide. You might even get to try your hand at the rock wall and the mechanical bull! The day will close at the hotel with devotions.

Day 5

Following breakfast, you will have the chance to finish any last-minute shopping before heading home.
