Day 1

You will take a flight to San Juan International Airport where you will meet your Joshua Expeditions guide then transfer to the hotel, enjoying the sites along the way. There will be some free time to explore the city before closing the day with dinner and orientation.

Day 2

Today you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the Old World Spanish settlement founded by Ponce de León, seeker of the fountain of youth. It historic center includes many beautifully restored buildings and homes in the Spanish Colonial style, and you also see the very forts that once protected the city from foreign invasion! Throughout the day you will have opportunities to enjoy the sights, sounds, flavors and shopping of this colonial city, and following dinner in the evening, you can even opt to take a night-time tour of the historic sites.

Day 3

This morning the group will travel to El Yunque Rainforest and have the chance to hike and swim in the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. You will be amazed at the many species of animals and plants found there! Later, you will head to Luquillo Beach, considered the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico, for an afternoon of fun and relaxation. The group will return to San Juan for dinner and devotions.

Day 4

Today you will enjoy a “Reef Garden Adventure”! Your excursion will include sea kayaking, snorkeling and lots of fun in the sun. Don’t forget to wear your sunscreen! After an amazing morning around the beautiful reefs of Puerto Rico, the group will stop for lunch and then head into San Jose to work with a local ministry group. At the end of this busy day, you will enjoy a wonderful dinner in San Juan then close with devotions.

Day 5

After an amazing trip to Puerto Rico, it will be time to fly back home.
