Day 1

Your group will fly to San Juan International Airport where your Joshua Expeditions guide will meet you. You will enjoy the sights of Puerto Rico as you travel first to your hotel and then set out for some free time to explore the city. After a brief orientation in the evening, the group will close the day with devotions at the hotel.

Day 2

Today you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the Old World Spanish settlement founded by Ponce de León, seeker of the fountain of youth. Its historic center includes many beautifully restored buildings and homes in the Spanish Colonial style, and you will also see the very forts that once protected the city from foreign invasion! Throughout the day you will have opportunities to enjoy the sights, sounds, flavors and shopping of this colonial city, and following dinner in the evening, you can even opt to take a night-time tour of the historic sites. (Fees for optional activities are not included in the price of the trip.)

Day 3

This morning the group will travel to El Yunque Rainforest and have the chance to hike and swim in the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. You will be amazed at the many species of animals and plants found there! Later, you will head to Luquillo Beach, considered the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico, for an afternoon of fun and relaxation. The group will return to San Juan for dinner and devotions.

Day 4

Today you will enjoy a “Reef Garden Adventure”! Your excursion will include sea kayaking, snorkeling and lots of fun in the sun. After an amazing morning around the beautiful reefs of Puerto Rico, the group will stop for lunch and then head into San Juan to work with a local ministry organization. At the end of this busy day, you will enjoy a wonderful dinner in San Juan then close this final evening with devotions.

Day 5

After an amazing trip to Puerto Rico, it will be time to fly back home.
