Begin your Experience to Budapest, Hungary!

Day 2: Orientation

Meet your Joshua Expeditions guide at the airport. You’ll depart by bus to the Budapest city center for an overview of Hungary’s capital city. Journey to the top of Gellert Hill where you'll receive cultural and spiritual information regarding Hungary and have a time of prayer for its people. Travel down to the city center and view the Parliament Building up close, then mingle with the citizens as you shop along Vaci Street. You'll then travel to Word of Life Bible Institute for ministry orientation, dinner and lights out.

Day 3: Your Experience

After breakfast, you’ll begin working on your stage within the project. This will consist of building a climbing wall or adding new construction onto the dorms used for youth summer camps.

Day 4

Your day will include service and outreach. In the evening you'll enjoy a bonfire, worship, and games.

Day 5

Today you will continue your service and outreach projects, then close the evening with worship and a time of fun.

Day 6

This will be your final day of service. You'll spend some additional time in outreach before wrapping up your evening with a bonfire, games and a time of worship.

Day 7

Today you will board a bus and head over to the Castle District in the city center, then cross back over the Danube for lunch and some souvenir shopping in a two-story warehouse where you’ll find all the Hungarian specialties and delicacies. In the afternoon, your group will spend time in prayer while walking the city and visiting St. Stephen’s Basilica and Hero’s Square. After a celebratory dinner you’ll return back to Word of Life for your final evening.
