Day 1

Board your overnight flight to Munich!

Day 2

At the airport in Munich you will meet your Joshua Expeditions guide then travel over to the Olympic Stadium and Olympiaturm, also known as the Television Tower. The group will spend some time exploring here before heading over to downtown Munich for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Hofbräuhaus, Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt before leaving for your journey south to the picturesque Alps on the German/Austrian border. Following check-in at the hotel in Garmisch, the group will venture into town for shopping and relaxation. That evening, dinner will be accompanied by a Bavarian music and dancing performance before the group returns to the hotel for devotions.

Day 3

Today you will visit the site of the 1936 Winter Olympic Games and take an incredible hike, weather permitting, up to Partnachklamm (Partnach Gorge). The group will head into town afterward for a quick lunch before the next adventure of the day — the famous and beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle! At this spectacular place you will enjoy a guided tour and have opportunity to take breathtaking photos. After stopping for dinner at the restaurant below the castle the group will return to the hotel for a time of devotion and discussion.

Day 4

It's off to Mittersill, Austria, today! The "castle" at Schloss Mittersill Christian Conference Center is a beautiful property situated in the middle of the Austrian Alps. Along to way the group will stop in Innsbruck for lunch and some free time to see the Golden Roof, Dom zu St. Jakob, Kaiserliche Hofburg and Hofkirche. The evening will close with dinner, fellowship and devotions.

Day 5

Today you will enjoy a day trip to Salzburg, the site of Mozart's birth and the filming of The Sound of Music. A walking tour of the city will include such sites as Mozart's birthplace, Mirabell Gardens, the Domplatz and Hohensalzburg Fortress. You will also have some free time to stroll down the Getreidegasse where you can enjoy some great shopping and Austrian food! After dinner in the city, the group will return to the castle for devotions and discussion.

Day 6

Following breakfast the group will journey up to Vienna! After check-in at the hotel, you will head straight into the city for lunch and time to explore the area around the Ring Boulevard (Ringstraße). In the afternoon the group will hit some major sites including the Stephansplatz and the Nues Rathaus. You will also visit Vienna's premier landmark, St. Stephen's Cathedral, before winding down the day with dinner in the city and devotions at the hotel.

Day 7

Today your walking tour of Vienna will continue. You will see the Parliament then take some free time to shop and grab some lunch. In the afternoon, the group will take a tour through the Staatsoper then stroll through the Heldenplatz and browse at Vienna's largest market, the Naschmarkt. Following dinner, the group will return to the hotel for devotions and discussion.

Day 8

On this final day in Austria, you will have more time to explore as you head to Stadtpark then take a tour to the Hofburg Complex. You will also venture over to the Burgtheater before enjoying a a guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace, centerpiece of the Hapsburg Empire. The day will conclude with devotions as you prepare for the next day's departure.

Day 9

After 8 incredible days in Europe, it's time to return home!
