Day 1

Board your overnight flight to Milan!

Day 2

Your Joshua Expeditions guide will meet you at the airport and transfer with you to the hotel before the group heads out to the main center of Milan. Here, you will visit the Duomo, one of the world's largest churches and the second largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Afterward, you will enjoy lunch in the indoor mall and have time to grab a quick gelato, as well! In the afternoon your tour continues to such sites as the Teatro alla Scala opera house, the Castello Sforzesco and a visit to Santa Maria delle Grazie where you will view Leonardo's famous Last Supper. The evening will conclude with dinner and devotions at the hotel.

Day 3

Following breakfast, the group will head out to Bergamo, a beautiful, small city upon a hill that provides an amazing view. There will be time to explore the city and enjoy lunch before the group continues its journey over to Verona. A walking tour of this famous city will bring you to such locations as The Arena and Juliet's balcony. Your time in Verona will conclude with a nice dinner before heading over to a hotel just outside of Venice.

Day 4

First thing this morning you will enjoy a boat ride into Venice! From Piazza San Marco, the main hub of the city, you will have a quick orientation before spending the day in sightseeing, shopping and personal exploration. You may even choose to take an optional gondola ride through the canals! (Fees for optional activities are not included in the price of the trip.) The group will meet back together to view a few more sites before heading off to enjoy dinner and the return trip back to the hotel for devotions and discussion.

Day 5

This morning your journey will take you into the Alps! Upon arrival in Mittersill, Austria, the group will check into the "castle" at Schloss Mittersill Christian Conference Center, a beautiful property situated in the middle of the Austrian Alps. Your evening will include dinner and free time to fellowship and explore the castle.

Day 6

A day trip into Salzburg will include the site of Mozart's birth and filming locations for The Sound of Music. You will enjoy a walking tour of the city that will take you to Mirabell Gardens, the Domplatz, and Hohensalzburg Fortress, and then you will have some free time to stroll down the Getreidegasse. Plan to enjoy some great shopping and Austrian food while you are there! The group will stay in the city for dinner then return to the castle for devotions and discussion.

Day 7

Today your group will travel to Munich for the final day of your trip. After a brief stop at the hotel, you will head to the Munich City Center for a walking tour of the historical downtown area. You will visit the Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, Hofbrauhaus and Viktualienmarkt, and there will be time for a little shopping after pausing for lunch. Later, the group will stop by Odeonsplatz to learn about the history of this famous square, and you may even encounter a Starbucks or two along the way! As you make your way back to the hotel you will enjoy dinner at the local castle before concluding your tour with devotions and group discussion.

Day 8

After these incredible days in Europe, it will be time to return home!
