Day 1
Upon arrival in George Town, the historic capital of the Cayman Islands, you will meet your Joshua Expeditions guide then transfer to your hotel for a brief orientation. Following dinner, you will have some time to explore the beach before the day concludes with seaside devotions.
Day 2
This morning the group will head out for a full-day boat ride to Stingray City where you will be able to snorkel and play with live stingrays. In the afternoon you will have a chance to visit some local shops and then head back to the beach to relax and enjoy the sun. You may want to snorkel, swim, create sand art, or participate in one of the optional activities like kayaking, paddle boating, or riding the “big banana” inner-tube. (Additional fees apply per activity). In the evening the group will gather back at the beach for devotions.
Day 3
This morning your group will minister to the people of the Caymans by sharing testimonies and songs, as well as assisting local ministries with tasks at such locations as retirement or foster care centers. Later, you will head over to the blowholes where photo opportunities abound as you enjoy these unique rock formations that provide a beautiful water splash. You can also enjoy the special treat of fresh local fruit juice made right in front of your eyes. In the evening the group will have dinner and devotions to round out the day.
Day 4
Following breakfast, the group will venture out to scenic Rum Point for a day of beach activities. You can snorkel, swim, kayak, play organized beach volleyball or soccer, and just relax on hammocks while enjoying distinctive snacks and beverages. Devotions at the beach will close the day.
Day 5
On this last day in the Caymans, you will have plenty of time for shopping in George Town, a city that resembles London. In this 5th largest banking center on earth, you will find fashion and jewelry stores, souvenir shops and much more, all surrounded by banks. After picking up your last-minute souvenirs, it will be time to head back home.
