Day 1

After your arrival in Toronto, you will meet your Joshua Expeditions guide and check into the hotel. Your tour will begin with a bird’s eye view of the city from the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the world! Afterward, you will enjoy a short walking tour before rounding out the day with dinner and devotions.

Day 2

After breakfast, the group will spend the morning in Chinatown, the second largest in North America! You will have lunch on your own and then head out with the group to Casa Loma for a tour. In the afternoon, you will visit the Victorian Distillery District where you will have time to admire the art, culture and architecture of this pedestrian-only village. Time permitting, you will also enter the Art Gallery of Ontario which houses more than 40,000 works! You’ll stop for dinner before heading back to the hotel for devotions.

Day 3

Today you will take a day trip to Niagara Falls! Soak in the beauty of the Niagara Peninsula and be ready to see this amazing creation as you enjoy a boat ride up close to Horseshoe Falls – try not to get wet! After spending the day here, you’ll return to Toronto to prepare for your departure to Montréal the next day. (You might want to add an optional sports event to your Toronto tour, such as Maple Leafs hockey or Blue Jays baseball.)

Day 4

Depart for Montréal this morning! You’ll feel like you’re in Europe as you take an afternoon walking tour through Old Montreal on the Place Jacques-Cartier and Place de la Dauversière. You will also visit the Basilique Notre-Dame of Montréal. After admiring the city’s street artists and entertainment, it’s on to dinner before heading back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 5

In the morning, visit the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, one of Canada’s oldest art museums, then later take a stroll down the Golden Square Mile observing the Medieval, Renaissance, Greek, Roman, Gothic and Germanic architecture. Afterward, you’ll go underground into the miles and miles of pedestrian walkways below the city for some shopping and lunch. Next, you’ll head back to the hotel where the group will load up on the coach to Québec City! The day will close with dinner and devotions.

Day 6

After breakfast, the group will make stops at the Citadel, Château Frontenac, and Place-Royale. This area will give you an opportunity to practice your French! Later that evening, you’ll have some free time before heading to dinner. You might opt for going out in the evening to catch a movie in French before the day closes with devotions at the hotel.

Day 7

Today you will enjoy God's creation during either a boat excursion on Saint Lawrence River (in spring, summer or fall) or a ski excursion (in winter). You'll see the Parc des Champs-de-Bataille and the Plains of Abraham, which was Canada’s birthplace. (There are several group activities to choose from, and these can be tailored to fit your French Language program). Your day will close with devotions at the hotel.

Day 8

After breakfast, you’ll have opportunity to take a stroll along the Old City Boardwalk and grab a final souvenir before heading back to the hotel to prepare for departure out of Québec City.
