Day 1

Board your overnight flight to Munich!

Day 2

Your Joshua Expeditions guide will meet you in the airport then the group will make its way over to Dachau Concentration Camp. After this emotional beginning, you will head into Munich's city center for some free time followed by a short tour of the famous Glockenspiel, as well as Viktualien Market and Marienplatz, Munich’s most important square. Afterward, the group will continue south to Garmisch, a beautiful Bavarian town located on the German-Austrian border.

Day 3

Following breakfast, you will visit the Olympic Ski Stadium, site of the 1936 Winter Olympic Games, and then take a hike through the spectacular Partnachklamm (Partnach Gorge). After a morning of breathtaking views, you will have lunch in downtown Garmisch before venturing over to Neuschwanstein Castle, near the town of Füssen. The day will conclude with dinner and a time of devotions and discussion.

Day 4

Today, the group will make its way to the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain. In the afternoon, a private coach will take you on a tour through Ettal and Oberammergau before the day concludes with devotions and a time of discussion.

Day 5

This morning you will travel to Mittersill, Austria, where you will stay in a castle! (subject to availability) On the way, you will hit a summer, downhill luge and then stop at Innsbruck for lunch and some free time. You won't want to miss the Golden Roof! Upon arrival at the castle in Mittersill, you will have more free time to explore before dinner and devotions conclude the day. The view onto the valley and the mountains will take your breath away!

Day 6

Today the group will take a day trip into Salzburg, Austria – Mozart’s birthplace! A short walking tour of the city will include such sites as the Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Gardens, Salzburger Dom (Cathedral of Salzburg), as well as Mozart’s home and locations from The Sound of Music. You will have free time to grab a few souvenirs after the tour then it’s time to head back to Munich to get ready for your flight home!

Day 7

After 6 amazing days, you will return to America from Munich!
